Phenyl silicone oil is not only active in the cosmetics industry, but it is also an indispensable multi-functional material in the industrial sector.
In the electronics and electrical industry, it is an ideal insulating medium. With its excellent high and low temperature resistance and dielectric properties, phenyl silicone oil is widely used for impregnation and encapsulation of transformers, capacitors, and electronic components. It provides moisture protection, corrosion resistance, and corona resistance, ensuring stable equipment operation. Its high flash point and low volatility further enhance safety.
In high-temperature lubrication, it excels. While ordinary mineral oils easily oxidize and deteriorate at high temperatures, phenyl silicone oil can maintain stable lubrication for extended periods at temperatures ranging from -50℃ to above 250℃, making it the preferred lubricant for precision instruments, aerospace bearings, and textile machinery.
In the coatings and inks industry, a small amount of phenyl silicone oil can significantly improve leveling, eliminate pinholes and brush marks, and make the paint film smoother and glossier. It also enhances the weather resistance and anti-blocking properties of coatings.
Furthermore, phenyl silicone oil is used in the medical field as a lubricating coating for medical devices and a drug release carrier; in chemical production, it is a highly efficient defoamer and release agent; and in optical instruments, due to its high refractive index and transparency, it is used for coupling and sealing of precision optical components.
From high altitudes to the deep sea, from chips to machinery, phenyl silicone oil is quietly playing a vital role in every corner of modern industry with its stable and reliable properties.
